Bree began dancing at Melinda's School of Dance in Humboldt, Iowa at the age of four and loved every minute of her constantly evolving dance career. Her desire to share her enthusiasm in dance with others came naturally and she began as a teaching assistant at the age of eleven. After dancing for nearly a decade at the studio, Bree developed a unique way of reaching out to students. After high school she attended DMACC for Graphic Design & choreographed for DMACC dance team. Bree's career started a new path in 2014 when started her own childcare and after working solely in the field for 5 years she discovered that building up children's self esteem and encouraging them to explore their passion is very close to her heart. During this absence from dance, Bree confirmed that her first love is still in the dance community. She is very happy to begin teaching again for a studio that cares so much about the student’s individual needs as not just dancers, but as people. She feels deeply about sharing her years of knowledge and experience with her students. Bree is a very positive, effervescent teacher and believes highly in developing dancers that believe in building up their peers as well as believing in themselves. Bree says that her number one reason why she LOVES Studio 360 is not only is every dancer taught the most up-to-date techniques but there is a large focus on self-confidence which she finds to be most important in dance and everyday life. Bree lives in Cedar Rapids and is married to her husband Dave! They have two beautiful daughters Gwendolyn and Margaret.
